Southern Bedroom

Villa Moondrop Ubud

The southern-side bedroom of Villa Moondrop has the same teak ceiling and interior wall, but the outer walls to the south and west are large glass panels, sliding glass doors, and folding glass doors. There is no way to avoid the view unless you close the curtains.

This bedroom is open or unenclosed as there is no western interior wall separating it from the living area, although there is a curtain. The toilet and sink are inside, but the shower and the bathtub, carved out of a single boulder, are outdoors. A lawn extends around the house on the south and west. Beyond the lawn on the south, privacy is provided by a wall of green shrubs, trees, and flowers growing out of an impassable ravine.
